Junior Year AP Classes

Hello,

I am planning to take 5 AP Classes my junior year (next year) Here are the classes that I am planning to take.

-AP English Language and Composition
-AP Physics
-AP Macroeconomics
-AP Microeconomics
-AP US History 2

In additon to this, I will be taking Honors Pre-Calculus and Honors Spainish 4. Also I will be taking 2 AP Bridge Course, one for AP Lang and AP Physics. Do you think this is alot of work? I was thinking of dropping Ap Macroeconomics and instead taking an easy class like Forensic Science. I have never been in an AP class so I have no idea what to expect .

imo, I took my first AP class my junior year (this previous year) bc it was the first that was available for me and it absolutely kicked my butt!! It was ap us history and so if you think you can handle it, then power to ya! but maybe you should ask people at your school who have taken those classes because I can only speak to the experience that I’ve had. However, my senior year I’m taking four aps (the max) and I totally think that I can handle it and if you’re really committed then you can handle it too!

Starting with that many AP classes without having taken one before is a recipe for disaster.
I’m guessing AP US history 2 follows honors us history 1 and is halfway the regular Abby’s history so that should be OK. AP econ also, just take one this year and the other the following year.
Assuming this is AP physics 1 you should be okay with that schedule.

Since you’ve never taken an ap class before…it may be an issue. However, if you work hard, you will be successful. Don’t be discouraged, good luck.
