Junior Year Class Schedule

As of now my schedule is:
-Madrigals (A time-consuming choir class that I would not consider dropping. Total of 100 concerts a year)
-AP Calc A/B (Also would not consider dropping
-American Literature (Never been a fan of english classes so I prefer regular english)
-AP Computer Science (How difficult will the class be and how much hw will I get each night?)
-US History/ AP US History(Which one should I take considering my schedule?)
-AP Bio(I was told it was very time consuming but I really enjoyed honor biology)
-AP Chem(Taking honors chem. Doing pretty well. Not as interested as I am in Bio)
-(Sports Still Deciding)

Considering SAT prep and all those other things, I was wondering if my schedule would give me too much workload. I was told that colleges mainly look at your junior year schedule, so I thought maybe I should take many APs that I am interested in. However, it seems to me that I may not be able to handle it. What do you guys think?

That’s a lot with Madrigals. AP Bio and AP Chem together could be challenging especially if both classes have lab reports due at the same time. You’re the best judge as to whether you can handle.

If you were to drop either Bio or Chem, I’d suggest doing APUSH instead of reg USH. I have no firsthand experience with AP Comp Sci, so I can’t help you there.

Syon did ap comp sci and said it was easy so…

What other ECs do you have? I think it is doable if you are not involved with lots of other time consuming activities. That said, I also think you will be staying up late for most of your junior year.

AP comp science is not bad if you have experience and are good at problem solving but can be difficult if you don’t know how to do these two things. As for history it really doesn’t matter but if you have the time and can handle 5 aps then go for it.
