Junior year/college???

Hey, so I’m a junior in high school, and I’d just like to figure out some colleges that I’d be in the range for.
I’m currently taking AP Calc AB, APUSH, Spanish 5, and Advanced Orchestra.
Overall weighted GPA: 4.03
Overall Unweighted GPA: 3.86
I’m hoping to boost my GPA this next semester of my junior year by taking AP Psych, AP Spanish, AP English Language and Composition, and Business Management. (My school is on the quarter system, so 8 classes overall, 4 per semester)
My SAT Score from this fall: 1450 (New SAT)

My extracurriculars are kind of all over the place and I’m not sure what I want to do yet, however I’m leaning towards something related to business maybe…??
Extra Curricular Activities:
-play cello for 4 years - advanced orchestra this year(11th grade, this was the first year that advanced orchestra was offered at my school), pit orchestra for musical (9th grade), ASTA certificate of advancement program (level 5) (10th grade)
-work in the school cafe 4 days a week (paid+community service hours) (11th grade)
-worked at a law office over the summer (paid) - really good office experience
-co-founder/treasurer of a music club at my school- we play music at retirement homes (11th grade)
Note - I’ve helped care for my grandmother sick with Alzheimer’s disease since she was diagnosed. She was diagnosed when I was in elementary school, and it has helped me grow up and become so much more independent. I’ve been told by advisors that I should count this in my applications since it has taken a lot of my time and shaped my identity so much.

I’m not really sure what colleges I should be looking at and if what I’m doing so far in classes and ec’s is enough to have a good chance at some decent colleges?
I live in Southern California and I want to get away from home for college. Money is not an issue for me. I visited the University of Washington over the summer and loved it. I’m already thinking that UW will be one of my top choices. I’m not sure what I could get in to and what colleges will be too much of reaches for me. Any thoughts would be helpful to me. Thanks so much!

First thing to do is run the NPC on ucsb, Uci, or ucd, u Washington, USanDiego, McKenna, Whitman, UPuget Sound - those should return very different numbers. Print and show the results to your parents. Start talking : what can they afford from savings and current income? Even if money is not a problem, your parents may not have a budget for college or may not be willing/able to be full pay.

Second, get a Fisk guide, start reading about colleges to see what appeals to you.

Your stats and curriculum rigor are very good. Once you know what your budget is and what you like, post here for suggestions.

@championworrier, here is some information about the many Californians at the University of Washington:

You sound like a good candidate for a Purple and Gold Scholarship:

Keep up the good work, and good luck!
