wow, graduating junior year? that’s intense, and really impressive! in terms of your scores, i think that they’re solid. I’m not sure how ACT scores work, and the new SAT is pretty baffling to me, so I’m not sure how that works either. However, for your SAT IIs, I would advise taking the Math II? A lot of schools look for both a science and a math SAT II. I’m not sure if your planned major really needs it, but I would check just to be sure. It’s always good to check the score requirements for the college of your choice early, just so you know what you need. Other than that, your stuff looks good! Good luck!

Thanks! same to you! @zeezeebee

Help ya girl out! #BUMP

This is ancient history, but I graduated in the August following my junior year. Just needed to take two units of English in summer school to satisfy Illinois requirements, since I was a year ahead in all the other subjects. Spent what would have been my senior year as an exchange student in Stockholm and that went in my college applications as post-high school but I was still a freshman. (Times & rules were simpler then.) Got into the only school I really wanted to go to (Reed), so it all worked.

Not sure what you’re asking. What your chances are? You’re aiming high in your list of colleges. Your test scores are not outstanding. I don’t think graduating in 3 years will necessarily earn you any brownie points. Schools may be concerned with your young age. I would be prepared with a backup plan for what would have been your senior year, and you need some safety schools.

wow, interesting!

I think I’m asking for any suggestions that people may have to offer, experiences with graduating early, and chances. General thoughts basically. I am def. worried about my test scores, but hope that my last ACT test was better. I’m 100% weakest at standardized testing. Regarding the age thing, I’ve interviewed at about 7 of the schools and that hasn’t been a concern. I’m pretty put together, or so I’d like to think. What schools would be more safety-like? I thought NYU, Northeastern, and GW would all be safeties with the GPA’s, and EC’s. Thank you! @AboutTheSame

Bump!

I think your current situation is great and pretty unique, but I would say that your test scores are too low to safely get into all of the colleges you’ve listed (except Harvard, Penn, and Northwestern obviously as no one can safely get in there). Since you do have this extra time that leaves you bored in high school, I’d spend some time grinding for a 34+ or 1500+. Not too clear as to whether you’re applying this year or not but it would only make your application stronger.
