I am not a senior; I am a junior that wants to know how much strong SAT scores and an upward curve will affect my app (the 11th grade + AP scores are projected, not certain).

If anyone has ideas on how to help my EC's go up (I'm a jr right now), please say say so...

Also, I want to know whether you're supposed to take AP/SAT II tests as a senior :\ ......do the scores even count towards your application?

Thanks!

BUMP

cmon you know you got time on your hands

The SAT II’s you take in senior year definitely count towards college as long as you’ve sent in your scores for them by the deadline for your college. The colleges will accept you before you even take your senior AP Exams, so those aren’t taken into account, but your averages in the AP courses and your courseload is taken strongly into account.

You are wasting your time posting these hypothetical scenarios. You should get the numbers before posting them. Your predictions look VERY optimistic.

However, Good Luck this year!

It is hard to say because you’ve only got two years of high school under your belt so far and your “data” is really more like what you hope to get, but if you can achieve all those numbers you’ll be in good shape. Your extracurricular activities are a little lackluster, though; they could use some indication that you have passion for something, because nothing comes across immediately.

Like Kieran said, though, good luck.

yup, I totally understand that.

thanks!

any other opinions?
