Junior Year Schedule Difficulty?/ Advice on Classes

Hello! I’m a rising Junior in high school and I’m wondering if this schedule is difficult enough. I’m reaching for competitive universities in Massachusetts (BU,BC,etc.)

Some info about my past two years in high school:
Current GPA going into the year: 3.83UW & 3.89W
I’ve only taking AP Human Geo as it was the only AP available to us as underclassmen. I got an A and 5 on the exam. Though the class is known to be an easier AP, my teacher (who also teaches Apush) made the work pretty demanding and I think it prepared us for future APs.

Junior Year Schedule I’m currently signed up for: (we take 8 classes a year)
-Ap Lang
-Apush
-Ap Euro
-Ap Chemx2(we count this as 2 classes so it technically will be 2 APs on GPA)
-Reg. Calculus

  • Economics
    -Gym2
**Btw there is no honors Calc. Econ&Gym are grad requirements.

***I’m thinking about dropping APush because of the reputation for stress and piles of work it come with at my school. Doing this I could spend more time on Ap Chem, and Euro( Ap Euro is known to be less difficult at my school). The downside is I would have to fill Apush’s spot with Reg. US History bc of a grad requirement.

****Some answers to questions you guys may have:

  1. For those who are curious I want to major in business, specifically marketing, but there aren’t many business/marketing geared courses at my school.
  2. Yes, I’ve taken a language. Spanish 1-4.
  3. I’ve taken Hon. Chem, Bio, and Earth Science.

Don’t take APUSH and APEH concurrently. Since USH is required, take the AP version and push Euro to senior year.

I would stick to APUSH unless your history teacher doesn’t recommend AP for you. Take AP Euro your senior year. Take an elective instead.

What business options do you have? - management, entrepeneurship, business law, business ethics, statistics, finance, business intro, accounting etc are all good options even if they are not AP classes. A class on social media would also be useful for marketing.
