Hey y’all. I am in the process of creating my Junior Year schedule. This will be my first year with AP’s since you cant take them as a freshman and can only take AP Euro as a soph if your teacher recommends you which mine refused to for some unknown reason (well over pre-reqs btw).
I plan on taking the following:
AP Enviro
AP Physics: Newtonian Mechanics
AP CompScience A
Honors American Gov
Honors English
Pre Calc
Calc 1
SAT/ACT Prep
Digital Imaging.
Keep in mind my school has block schedule so they all fall neatly in place with 4 courses per semester.
I feel like your schedule is very strong
Do you really need SAT/ACT Prep as a class
lol
Kawaii, my dad is basically forcing me to take it because he doesnt believe in self-studying xD. Plus the teachers who gives that class teaches me H English now.
Senior year should look something like: AP Bio/AP Physics E/M, AP Calc AB, AP Gov/AP Macro and some chem class. Im also taking 4 subject tests (Bio, Spanish, Math 1 and 2). Hopefully I can get into CMU, Pitt, Haverford, colleges like that
It’s a good schedule then.
Your Senior year seems pretty good too.
FYI, taking both Math 1 and Math 2 subject tests is a waste of a subject tests, as colleges will want one or the other.
Oftentimes its a good idea to take the Math 2 subject test right after you finish precalc because what you learned is fresh in your mind.
I also agree with @skieurope that taking both nath subjects tests is a waste. Just take the Math 2.
