Junior year sucks.

Jesus, Junior year was AWFUL. I am so glad I am done. Just first semester of senior year, and then I’m gonna have so much fun

Idk, junior year wasn’t THAT bad for me, except for Pre-Calc LH and Physics LH T.T But I finished with a B in both classes…(even if I got a B-/C+ on the respective finals :P)
I still got an A+ in AP French and the highest grade (96 or so, but not A+) in my AP Lit class (the two classes I cared most about).
Senior year’s gonna be a blast, though. I was named Editor-in-Chief of the Lit magazine, I’m a Link Crew Leader (freshman helper people), still running my club of now-three years, probably going to be president of the NFHS, and I have my life-changing English teacher for two more classes  I’m applying ED to Reed, and I seriously expect to get accepted there. Soo, if all goes well, I’ll be able to relax a bit after December 15th (again, if I get accepted) ;D.

i thought it was the hardest. I had the most ap classes, most stress, influx of random club activities, NHS stuff, volunteering, research, etc. All that crap led to junior year being the hardest and most sleep deprived year of my life.

Junior year was the easiest year level so far because I cared less. Seriously, slacking off is fun.

I almost wish that I took the AP Lang exam more seriously so I could have five 5s… but whatever. It was worth it to write my awesome essay.

Junior year was easiest for me.

^^I slacked off and it was still hell haha

I’m kind of looking forward to next year, but come May, it will become the worst year of my life.

It’s weird but for some reason I always thought Junior year would be the most fun exciting year of high school. Honestly it really wasn’t that special but it could’ve just been that IB killed my social life :p

I’m looking forward a lot more to senior year  Although my workload is basically doubled, I think it’ll be a lot of fun, and even if it’s not, I’ll MAKE it fun  haha my last year of high school is not going to waste!

My 7th grade (6 year HS) teacher warned me that 11th grade was actually way better than 12th grade. First semester 12th grade was awful. I had not a single second of free time from 7:30 to 9:00 MTW, and the other days weren’t much better. I invented an alternative sleeping schedule to cope. I was actually diagnosed with exhaustion, like one of those starlets, and my doctor demanded that I start getting 8 hours a night, nearly double of my weekday average. But I think second semester was so wonderful that it may have averaged out to be slightly better than junior year, which was made awesome because I deeply cherished a few of my classes.
It may be the influence of nostalgia, but I still think 9th grade was the best, though, my experience was different from most, given that I was not a “freshman” (again, 6 year HS).

Junior Year was alright. The only class that was hellish for me was APUSH since the class had to learn 4 chapters of the American Pageant per week for Term 1. After that, it became better. Senior Year will become troublesome due to college applications and improving SAT scores.

Yeah, I didn’t think that junior year was all that difficult. I had about 1 hour of homework per night, and I got almost straight A’s (one B second semester). I’m really worried for senior year, we have to write an essay each week and calculus is supposed to be really tough, and I’m not prepared for Spanish 4.

Aaahhh… Is junior year really that hard? T_T

I’m going to be a junior in september lol… But I think my schedule will be easier since my school’s courses are pretty easy (can only take 1 AP in junior which will be Eng Lang).

And I don’t spend much time on ECs.

God powerschool has ruined my 7th grade year. Now into 8th grade the system is still there and my parents know about it :frowning:

My sister’s junior year was an epic drag she had to study like 5 hours a night.
Then she got into harvard and turned it down for an IU Bloomington scholarship…I want to go to Harvard! Too bad they don’t defer admission to siblings :P

so far junior year is kicking my butt with no signs of stopping cuz there is always something for me to work on or study or research EVERYDAY and its sooo annoying!! darn me and my overachieving ways! =/

My year includes: studying for/taking ACT, studying for/taking SAT, studying for/taking SAT subject tests, driver’s ed (4 hrs/week), 12 hrs of tennis per week, studying for AP classes, studying for honors classes, finding time for college visits, finding time to have a social life, worrying about college, model UN, science olympiad, nat honors society, etc.

Somehow my GPA has gone up from a 3.9 to a 4.15. I don’t understand why it increased, but I’ll take it.

looking back junior year wasn’t that bad for me at all… I was complaining about nothing. Senior year on the other hand is absolutely torture. Sometimes I’ll be doing homework until 3 in the morning and will have to painfully set my alarm for 2.5 hours later to wake up at 530 am. Then even while I’m asleep I have nightmares of all of the college apps and transcripts and scores and essays that I have to have in along with all of my schoolwork. I Just want this year to be over… I wish I could go back to the easiness of junior year…

how does a thread go for 2 years dead, get resurrected, die for a year. and then magically come back.

Magic

10chars

So far this is wayyyyy better than sophomore year, that was hell. This year isn’t even close to as bad.

How does AP English, AP Psychology and AP Statistics sound all in the same semester?
