juniors who are applying to uchicago next year

please post later in the year....

right now, admitted students are too busy celebrating to even THINK about the crappy, demoralizing college application process and to evaluate your chances. hahaha. :-p

oh, and enjoy your senior year while you can.

much love
:)

That's a very demanding statement of you, ms. tiffany

I say post all you want Juniors, as a person once in the aggravating place of not knowing where the **** I'd be ending up, I can sympathize.

Besides, your "chance" profiles give me something to do.

I would be bored with nothing to do ... or cause too much trouble on the Parent's forum!

Post away, kids! :-)

hey esquared, look at the "just a bit curious" thread, and plz check out my chances.. i'm hoplessly in love with u of c, and unfortunately avoiding my bio..

it's ok tiffany i would be celebrating like crazy if i got in too! go ahead celebrate on, you guys deserve it!

I just need to say that I love Ramen.

Also, do I have any hope of a merit scholarship?

Your chances are good in any college in the known universe.

to ANY of you juniors: don't hesistate applying here just because of your stats. that is most definitely not all that the U of C looks at. in fact, don't let that hold you back from applying anywhere. the worst any school can do is tell you no; yet that's more than if you'd never applied. all of you that i've looked at look like you've tried very hard in high school. just write a few good essays and get some quality teacher recommendations, and you'll have done your part. good luck, guys, i remember being in this exact position last year. :)

anyway, you look good if you're seeking reassurance.

dude, both of you will most probably get into Chicago, unless they suddenly change their admissions process to ED and become more selective. Just do well on your essays, keep up the hard work (or lack thereof), and relax.
