Just a Heads up for EA applicants

@sinjbad‌ I took the October ACT as well, but I think my SAT scores were already in so that’s why I’m still EA.

@sinjbad Dang really? I’m sorry. And does your situation only apply for Oct 25th ACT applicants? It just seems weird that people who sent in transcripts late are still EA yet you aren’t.

I was about to make a note for myself to call admissions on Monday, but I my app status changed to admitted today. I did send in scores from before Oct, I was initially just worried because the app status checker thing said that they weren’t received until Nov. 5. Did you try calling admissions to ask about appealing this? They seem to have been more lenient with a lot of people. Put up a fight!

@sugoi15 I guess so. Because October 25th scores did not come out until the 11th of November, and schools did not receive them until two days after this date. This means OSU did not receive my ACT score until the 13th of November.

@sinjbad I would recommend you to do what @Mydeskisamess‌ said. The only issue I see is that you may not have any other test scores sent? this might be why they put you in regular. This is why I am having trouble understanding this situation : http://www.collegeconfidential.com/dean/can-i-send-test-scores-after-the-early-decision-deadline/

I have called in already, and I was told exactly what I read on their admissions page, which is that EA is not applicable for tests taken before the deadline, but the scores come after the deadline,
