Just ACT?

My ACT score is higher than my SAT 1 score when converted so I was wondering if I would be at a disadvantage for just sending the ACT rather than everything to save some money. My ACT is about 200 points higher than my SAT when converted. My subject tests are all over 700 (3) except one which is a 590.

Did anyone get in early action with just their ACT reported?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't yale require sat ii's?

No either ACT, or SAT with subject tests

i got deferred. sent in act only, which was a 36

Umm, I sent in my ACT (35) but I sent in subject tests too (never took the SAT, so that wasn't an issue). If they say they're going to look at the highest scores, I'd trust them. Send in your subject tests.

wow bigreddawgie...
i only sent in my ACT(33) and also got deferred

this is actuallly a good question...has anyone gotten in with just the ACT?

someone at my school got in 2 years ago with a 28, but he was an athlete...

Someone on the forums got in with just an ACT (34) last year, but the rest of her profile was amazing. Search: vegangirl

I'd also like to know this. I got a 35 and did very well on SAT II's, my SAT is only 2280 (w/ writing being 800). Would it be worth it to send in SATs?

How is your SAT ONLY a 2280. That's an impressive score. I'm not applying to Yale, but I would send in the SAT and ACT in your case goblue10nis. The difference between your ACT and SAT is marginal, and it lets them see your subject test scores.

bump.............

Yale is just going to look at the highest relative score you have. Plus, if you send in your SAT II subject scores, they'll be able to see your SAT I scores. I got accepted with a 35 ACT and a 2200 SAT (don't ask...), so your strategy is certainly doable.
