good ECs and good recs, mediocre essay (haha)

anyway, i didn't really like GW in the beginning of the year so i decided to apply to a school with a more community feel and a campus. do you think its worth leaving GW poli sci for UNC's poli sci?

also, GW has no campus and UNC has a great campus

Do you think you’d like it there? Then take a leave from GW, and go spend a semester or a year at UNC and see if it is better for you.

It’s really a personal choice. What is it about GW you don’t like? What is it about UNC that you think you will like better?

I don’t like the fact that GW has no football team, no school spirit, and no campus… I like that UNC has all of that

Those are perfectly good reasons to change schools.

Generally speaking, students do better when they are in environments that they like better. If you think you will be happier with the style of student life there, go. I’m betting that you will also save a boatload of money too.

Here are some reason’s to turn down UNC- Chapel Hill.

Because you hate being a student at an elite public institution.
Because you hate school spirit and traditional college experience.
Because you hate top world class education.
Because you hate the academic national prestige UNC-CH has.

George Washington isn’t far behind but it is much more expensive than UNC.

It sounds like you would benefit from a transfer to UNC. It’s all about what works for you.

I would transfer- UNC-CH just seems better overall.
