Just checked wolverine access....

And my decision was sitting there waiting for me. I won't guarentee it's like this for everyone, and please don't harass me if you don't have a decision by now. But it is worth checking out.

Dhowdy,

I'm guessing you got in? Congrats! What were your stats? I'm going home in a couple minutes so I'm going to check.

Yes I did get in. 33ACT and 3.88 UMich GPA, white male OOS

where does it tell you if you have been accepted or not? I log onto wolverine access, under "Admissions Information" I click view application status. Then it says Admission Application Status, and the first column says "Admit Term" and under it says FA 2008, does this mean I'm accepted for FA 2008, or that I just applied for FA 2008. I feel so stupid :( lol, help.

Hi. That's simply the term you've applied for.

yea when you get in there will be a link next to credentials that says view decision

NOOO no decision yet, I am depressed (application received 9/25, last piece(transcript) in 10/17)

did you take the ACT in October? They are probably waiting to make decisions for anyone who took it, cause October results don't get sent to them for a few weeks. I'm very borderline so hopefully my new ACT is around a 32 or 33 from my 30 and maybe that will help!

Anyways congrats to all who've gotten it.

Yeah I haven't heard yet either...10/2 last item App on 9/17

3.5 UM GPA (toughest courses) 31 ACT and some nice ECs with lots of connections to the U. Maybe they are just accepting the kids with the high GPAs first?

I honestly think its all about how clear an admit it is-they probably start reviewing your application as soon as its complete, and if they can make a decision within a few minutes, there's no reason why it wouldn't come up in the immediately next round. Mine wasn't complete until the 19th of October and I got in today

I got in!

I am the parent of a kid who's interested in Michigan and other schools and is not likely to hear for a while. I just want to offer best wishes to students who are reading these posts and who may not be admitted. Don't let it get you down. Remember that Steven Spielberg was rejected at a couple of major film schools (USC and UCLA, I believe)!!!

Believe in yourself. Listen to that inner voice. You know who you are and what you can do. A few years after college this will all be irrelevant anyway. Go get 'em!

How are you guys checking? Where does it say? Don't you need a UMID??

When you applied you should have gotten an email about setting up a wolverineaccess account or something along those lines. Set up that account, link it to your application, and check there.
