Say you have the stats to get into princeton, but say you decided on harvard.
Would you be able to apply to princeton in a year without sending them stuff from harvard? Just stuff from HS? And let's say you gave them a good reason you have a year gap.

Did you drop out of Harvard? I was under the impression that you were required to submit transcripts from ALL schools attended, so this could be an issue given that Princeton doesn't accept transfers.

No, You have to submit everything. That includes Harvard stuff.

^well if you submit harvard stuff doesn't that make you ineligible since they don't accept transfers?

I believe so. Seems you're SOL, but still, Harvard isn't shabby.

right, that's the jist of it

It's not going to happen. And if you "forget" to mention Harvard, they will eventually find out and either kick you out or take back their diploma.
There is no such thing as a fresh start at this point.
Sorry.
