Just Curious... who pays for your AP Exam?

<p>In my case, the county pays for every single one of our exams.
So, if we are taking like 6 AP Test, it would pay all six of us.
No students are exempt from this deal either.</p>

<p>The state pays for 1 AP Exam and the county pays for the remaining AP Exams as long as the student is holding a D or better average in that AP class. :)</p>

<p>we have to pay for all of our AP exams. if we dont take an AP exam, we lose our weight in that class.. kind of a waste taking physics on monday, especially considering I won't get credit for it..</p>

<p>eh, we have to pay $76 (luckily, our GC doesn't charge an "AP Coordinator" fee)...but a lot of people qualify for fee waivers</p>

<p>We pay $52 for each AP if we're taking the class... If it's a self-study, we gotta pay the full $82 >.< </p>

<p>And the counselors love to discourage us from self-studying for any APs... I had to argue my way into them letting me take bio w/o taking the class... it's so frustrating =(</p>

<p>Interesting - my kids take the AP classes and I still pay $82 for each test. I'd never heard that this is a "self-study" price.</p>

<p>At my school if you qualify for the fee waver you only have to pay $5 per test, otherwise you pay the full $82.</p>

<p>74 for the ones at my school, 82 for the other ones because I am taking them with another school system. Next years per child spending is like $5-10 so there just isnt the $.</p>

<p>If you don't take the AP exam or if you average below a B- you don't get the 1.1 multiplier.</p>

<p>It would make my parents happy. heh. My teacher was telling us how she made her kids pay for the AP exams and if they passed they would get their money back...kind of a good way to get your kids to study, I guess ;)</p>
