anybody spot their student?!

This is great! Thanks for sharing…

Great video! And - YES - I briefly spotted my son!

That parade is such fun! I attended my FIRST Penn State game back in Sept and I was amazed at how many people were lining the street to watch the BB march into the BJC. What an experience!

My son is in his 4th year with the BB and plans on doing it next year to (5 year program). So proud of him for making the band, earning a leadership position, and committing to the heavy rehearsal/performance schedule. And with his drum corps experience, Dr. Bundy uses him each fall to teach the newbies how to march properly.

Now, on a similar note. Here’s a video from 2010 that shows what it’s like to be IN the BB, marching onto the field! A friend of my son’s made this.

Love the Blue Band! It’s one of the many great things about Penn State.

And congratulations to your son, GRcxx3 on his accomplishments with the band.

Time sure does fly.

slipjig - you are so right! Can’t believe this is his 4th year!

Grcxx3-Yep, and mine is graduating in May. I remember when we are all parents of freshmen and then parents of kids trying to cope with the scandal.

My daughter has had the time of her life and is going to the grad school of her choice shortly after graduation.

slipjig - that just seems so long ago!!!

Congrats to your daughter!!! What is she doing for grad school?

My son had his first interview yesterday for a summer internship. He’s so excited!

Grcxx3-I will pm you!
