Just got Acceptance Email into NYU

University Girl, when did your e-mail arrive?

Yay! My official acceptance was sent at 1:49 EST. Congrats to all and good luck to those waiting :).

Got the official acceptance at 1:42 EST. Also got the travel plans e-mail. I’m from Upstate NY (far enough that I would need to make travel plans) if you’re wondering.

So thrilled!!!

1:xx pm est :)

139pm EST
CAS
Located in midwest
Very early applicant
First third of alphabet last name
Did get “travel plans” e-mail
(In case it helps any of y’all who are still trying to figure out how they’re “batching out”)

omg where is my official acceptance email??? I haven’t received it yet!!! I received the travel plans email already, but how about this one?

I haven’t either. Calm, it will come eventually. Several people did call the admission office and confirmed that the “book travel plans” email means 100% acceptance so…
:)

Congrats to all who have received acceptance emails! Is there anyone who received an acceptance today that DID NOT receive the travel plans email?

Yes! Just got this at 4:30 PM. They didn’t mention which school, though. I applied to CAS. Still don’t know if I got LSP’d, but they’re sending letters tomorrow :P

Congratulations to everyone accepted! Just got my email, Arts & Sciences =]

does anybody know how NYU ships these packages? Priority? First class? wanna know how fast it arrives hehehe =]

i never got either of emails =( i guess this means the rejection is on its way. i applied only a day before the apps where do ( i was working really hard on having it perfect and decided to wait and turn it in, idk if that has any effect on if they haven’t made my decision yet or w/e) anyways congrats to all, im seriously and genuinely happy for all of you! its such a hard school to get into, consider yourselves all very lucky!

It’s kind of annoying when a lot of people think that the majority of people who get accepted into NYU are actually CC users, when in actuality they are the minority. Just because you see a few posts from people saying they got this email, it doesn’t mean that all the acceptances were given. CC users make an enormously SMALL portion of the people who get accepted. I just wanted to say that, so that people don’t get upset and think “omg so many CC people got in, that means all the spots are taken!” No - that’s not true.

Anyway, I just wanted to ask if anyone has received either email, travel plans and/or acceptance, if you were considered for the HEOP/C-STEP programs? Because I didn’t receive any of them. I’m not sure if HEOP applicants are told differently and are only notified by mail and not through these emails like the “regular” applicants.

^^^^ Im wondering the same thing
But others HEOP programs do it differently from “regular” Addmission…
I found out about Fordham HEOP thru a Phone call 2 weeks ago

When do you think we’ll hear about financial aid? That should come with the acceptance by mail, right?

this is making me go crazy.

I received an acceptance email today, but did not receive “the travel email” last week. Also, the email did not mention which program I was accepted to (I applied to Gallatin).

I got both e-mails :D

i was being considered for HEOP/C-Step too and i received the acceptance email but not the travel plans email…i think this email was more of a general one cause i received the same one as everyone else and it didn’t even mention HEOP/C-Step…

Are rejection emails sent the same time as acceptance emails?
