<p>There are certain events that are pretty pointless and poorly organized and I feel at times there is a shortage of opportunities made available to transfers to meet people; but so far, I wouldn't complain much.</p>
<p>Is there like an orientation for transfers? and could you find out what happens to spring transfers? pretty please. =D</p>
<p>I never transfered but it seems like it would have been very challenging for me ... as I am pretty shy. The returning kids will already have established social lives and the newbie freshman are not natural companions either. Is there a support system for tranfers .... a transfer center? a transfer orientation group? ... a place with others in the same boat that you can reach out to? Good luck!</p>
<p>My advice is somewhat in between what everyone said, I think that Cornell is a big school so it may be easy to make friends, or hard at the same time, but then again, it really depends on your personality. If after a few weeks or months you find that you dont like the campus and truly feel that your grades are affected, then maybe u may want to consider what you initially thought.</p>
