Just got my 1st semester senior year grades, will it increase my chances?

I got deferred from early action. i had a 3.58 cumulative gpa and a 31 act. i got a 4.33 for this semester. will committee take this into account in anyway? my cumulative shot up a point to 3.68. im not sure if villanova is one of those schools that care about the upward trend thing. im filipino from hawaii as well, so hopefully they will still consider me despite my abysmal cumulative gpa.

does villanova consider your senior grades for admission decision?
if so then its good that your cumulative went up

im not sure if they do, which is why i was asking if anyone knew. when i talked to the western regional admissions director when she visited hawaii, she told me that they would look at upward trends. but it may just be bs to get me to apply. does anyone else know anything about villanova admissions?

Sure, it will increase your chances.

awesome. i really hope i get in.
