Just had my AAP Art Interview

Just finished my on-campus portfolio interview in art. The interviewer is a professor in printing media; his name is Greg Page, very nice and polite guy i'd say.
I think I did fair in the interview and I presented several awards to the interviewer which seem to impress him. He said that my drawing are nice and the portfolio is good too.
but he did not have any information that really confirms anything. Some people who graduated last year from our high school had the interviewer showing them around the campus and telling them "see you next fall." These are pretty obvious hints to be accepted.

I didn't have anything like that. Although I asked him about how the course would flow and he gave me a course selection sheet. But then I asked for it then he gave it to me.

Do I have a chance to get accepted? or should I change to regular and work on my portfolio a bit then try again?

I don’t know what your portfolio looks like but what sort of awards did you receive and what are your stats? An interview might go well but these are also important factors in order to consider chances.

I am ranked 10% at my school, 4.02 GPA unweighted and 1970 in SAT reasoning.
president of a social club that basically works like the student council since we don’t have one at our school, and I think I have good recommendation letters…
1 AP calculus 4 course and won several academic awards like the principal’s award or Grade 11 Math nominee…
I’ve won international art awards that had received recognition by the president so I think its a pretty big award.

So how are my chances??

I think your academics and e.c.'s are pretty good especially since they only make up usually 1/3 of admission … I currently go to a really competitive art school in NYC so I know what admissions will be looking for… Are there any other art awards and for what mediums? By the way which award are you talking about? I think I know which one you’re talking about bc I won something like that to!
