I’m already a freshman there currently, but I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do at first. The audition went well, but I was only asked to sing L’ho Perduta, a sad aria, and ended up inappropriately smiling the whole way through due to nervousness. My two voice teachers okayed me for adding an Ab5 in at the end, and I easily hit it but it sounded airy and disconnected at my audition. I just hate the fact that I have to anxiously wait for their decision regarding my admission until March 22nd. I’d rather know their decision sooner, like in a week or two. Oh well, right now I can only pray that I make it in.
