I just did my interview, i think it went pretty well. My interviewer was young, she graduated in 1991. She had the same all-girls catholic school background as me so she was really easy to talk to. here’s some of the stuff she asked:
1. why i wanted to go to penn and how i got interested in the school.
2. what was the biggest thing i am involved in inside or outside school
3. biggest challenge in high school and how i overcame that
4. my academic interests
5. where i saw myself in 15 years
6. how my friends would describe me

It wasn’t really formal, like question one, now question two, it was more like a 40 minute back and forth conversation. My answer to the first question kind of lead into everything else she wanted to know and at the same time i got to ask her a bunch of questions. She never took notes and she didn’t ask me to bring anything but i gave her a sheet with my activities and stuff anyway.

i asked her about why she chose penn, and i asked about campus life and life in philadelphia, i think i may have also asked her some questions about her high school experiences b/c she comes from a background thats very similar to mine

Did she ask you where else you are applying - that's been a question I've had for some of the schools I'm applying RD. I never like that question.

My RD interview last year asked me asked me where else I was applying in the beginning of the interview, and then asked me of those which was my top choices. I actually didn't give him a clear answer. Later, I kept getting "stumped" by his questions and then it dragged on to become my worse interview of the 6 I had. But in the end, it's all good. don't stress over it too much.

I also got the question "How would your friends describe you" so make sure you prepared for that. He also asked about my stengths and weaknesses, which took me unprepared.
