so i joined my classes late this semester because of complications with my schedule and w/e and i have found that my grades have slipped down as much 50% from what I usually get. I'm starting to panic cause this is my junior year which is really important in Canada. I usually get 80s and 90s but i had a quiz and got a 58 on it! and my other marks haven't been stellar. I don't know if it's because of the material i missed or the pressures of the pending homework but I have to change this fast. Anyone have any advise?

bump.........

Hey!

I can relate~during my junior year, I was having a bit of family issues, so I missed an entire month of school first semester. With the program that I attend to, missing 4 weeks in a row is like begging to be failed and kicked out.

For me, it was a TON of pressure, and also I had a little bit of depression because of the previous problems, and the pressure didn't help. The homework load was also crazy...

But really, it's all just work to catch up. Miss a bit of sleep. Go talk to teachers a little more. Also, talk to upperclassmen who has gone through your classes and ask them for some help/advice on how to get around tests/quizzes and what the teacher's style is and what types of questions she'd like to ask, etc. Clearly, you've got the intellegience (where did the 80-90's come from otherwise? XD) so you've just got to really crank down.

That's all the advice I got. Talk to your teachers. Don't make excuses for yourself or anything, but just ask for them to understand you. Most teachers are very sympathetic, so even if they aren't willing to give you some more chances, they're surely willing to spend a bit more time with you helping you out.

k thnx:D,,,
