Just recieved UPenn's email

<p>welll… i just recieved Upenn’s email that said… Dear applicant,
Thank you for your application to the University of Pennsylvania. In order to complete your file, we are in need of the following materials from you that are checked/ticked below with an “X” next to the item. </p>

<p>Official copies of Documents or of SAT score reports can be faxed to: +1-215-898-9670, with originals sent via mail, as soon as possible. Please be sure to write your name and assigned PENN student ID number/Social Security Number on each page faxed. All SAT and TOEFL scores should be reported to Univ. of Pennsylvania ETS test code #2926. Thank you and best of luck with the admissions process!</p>

<p>In order for your fax copies to be acceptable, Please note you must have your Principal/University College Counselor sign and date on the SAT/TOEFL score report copies that they are true copies of your official score reports before you FAX them to our office.</p>

<p>So should i send in the stuff by fax … i mean this result as post would take a lot of time …though i had already sent in this information…</p>

<p>When I applied, they said they never got one of my official school transcripts. I called the school and they said they mailed it to them. I called Penn back and they said "Nope, we don't have it and cannot process your application until it shows up". Rather than argue a fight I couldn't win, I just had another copy couriered at my own expense ($30). I suppose it was my fault for having my school send the official transcripts directly to the school rather than sending everything together myself....Oh well, I won't do that again.
With 20,000 applications multiplied by the number of documents they receive, I can understand how things will go missing!</p>

<p>Hmm...I got a blue postcard from them that said they had everything, but it was still my responsibility to send official ACT/SAT scores (which I did). I think I should probably take a look at that to make sure I wasn't missing anything.</p>

<p>the blue postcard is sent in after the reciept of part1 .. how come u recieved one now..</p>
