how is the general work load, I don't mind academic rigor, and I can handle work, but I'm not interested in having a head slamming into desk due to lack of sleep level of work every day, could someone give me a general estimate of work per day?
How helpful are the academic advisors (is that what they are called)?
Are the teachers approachable, or are you able to interact, from what I've read that it was written that the student/facualty ratio is like 9/1 but in general besides introductory classes, how much interaction is there with proffs, as well as class size?
Also, I'm sort of on nerdy/geeky side or mabye the epitome, yeah know chess, anime, video gaming how well does that fit for rochester? - although I'm not opposed to partying
Hows the biology department, i'm personally interested in neuroscience, and application of neuroscience in technology - although I have no idea how
Hopefully someone can give me some feedback, ahhhh I only have a few days to decide school choices, thanks for any input.

Come to Rochester (-: I choose to go there next yr b/c the people seemed friendly and accepting, the academics and curriculum are top-notch, and the campus is beautiful. Sorry I can't give you any specifics about classes. I did talk to a guy from my school who goes there now. He said the academics were very challenging, but he also said he loved it there. All I can tell you is that we'd love to have you in our class of 2010 (-:

If you are an intelligent kid, you will not be staying up til the wee hours of the morning working

If you want the application of neuroscience to technology, then major in BME with the tissue and cell concentration and put neuroscience in the 3 science spots...
