In previous years I have submitted everything to my counselor’s part like a recommendation and edited academic results. I did edit my academic results and I’ve ranked myself like 2nd in 9th grade and 3rd in 10th grade. I have also edited my 11th-grade result which had 2 F’s in the result but doesn’t have any rank. I didn’t get any transcript in 12th grade because of COVID. In the counselor section, I gave my secondary phone number which is switched off, and also I have created Gmail on my own.
I have done all of these because I have no counselor in my school and I have requested and tried my best to be my teacher to be my counselor but they do not want to be. I have taken my parents, but do not believe in that system.
AFTER THE REJECTION WHILE I’M APPLYING FOR FALL 2022 :
I’m still looking for a counselor to submit my transcript. I will no longer make false statements this time. Also, I want to keep my roll number the same. In 9th grade, I had a roll number of 21 and in 10th grade, I had a roll number of 17. And I’m Keeping up the same in the 11th-grade result ( I had 2 F’s in my result). I didn’t find any other better situation than this.
This time, I can be the same as last year. But I don’t want to come back to my country because of a false statement and lose everything in my life
In my case, what should I do now? Does the university check the transcript while applying the 2nd time?
My question is:
Should I keep my academic transcript the same as edited or just the real one?
If there is a change option I can’t able to do submit my 11th-grade transcript.
Should I tell the truth to the admission counselor? in the additional essay.
Is it problematic if my counselor’s name is different from the previous counselor’s?
Would it be okay if I change my previous transcript roll number? Like the same one. I don’t wanna hassle in the long run
and sorry for doing that! and I regret it!
Please, anyone, answer these questions. I’m really losing my hope in applying this time.
this is all wrong! Everything single thing you submit must be 100% accurate. I would suggest the truth. Then enroll in a 2 yr community college. Build up your grades and transfer to a 4 yr college after that.
Are you looking to apply to a school in the US from another country? If so, do students from your school typically apply to schools in the US? It seems like you are trying to understand the system without any guidance, and that is just the wrong way to go about applying to schools. You can’t just make up information and fill out forms with lies. It is fraud.
First, this is very hard to understand. You are not using words correctly and many sentences don’t make sense. If you are planning to study in the US, you will need to improve your English skills.
Now, if I interpret this correctly, you applied to US schools once before with falsified transcripts and you were rejected. You now wish to apply again using actual information and are wondering if they retain your record from last time.
In most cases, I believe schools do retain information so when a new application comes in from the same student, it will go into the same file and the old information will still be there. They will notice discrepancies. The counselor changing won’t matter because people do change jobs from year to year, but grades changing on the transcript will be obvious.
Your best path forward is to apply to a new set of schools with completely correct and honest information.
It also sounds like you need a lot of guidance to understand the US college application process. I believe I’ve seen other posters recommend EducationUSA (I have no personal knowledge of that resource… there may be better options).
Did you post about this last year under a different account? I seem to recall a similar story… If that’s the case, you should ask a moderator to link this to that account as multiple accounts aren’t allowed.
Good luck! I hope you’ll seek more guidance and have a better outcome this year. It is very difficult for international students so please have a backup plan in your own country.
Fraudulently changed the transcript. Set up a bogus email and submitted as if he/she was the counselor.
If this is the poster I remember from last year (and I am not sure that is the case so apologies if I am making a mistake here), he/she did not have guidance from school administration or a counselor and tried to act in those roles during the application process. Multiple posters advised against this, of course.
Submitting fraudulent information to colleges will result in your rejection and quite possibly criminal charges should anyone at your school discover that you have forged and falsified your transcripts.
You need to be 100% honest. As CC is not a place to find advice about how to best lie, I am closing.
