just took 1st US History practice test, got 500...what should i do?

i want to get 750 at last this saturday..and i just took my first sparknotes practice test...it was hard and i skipped a bunch. is it possible if i devote myself these next 3 days to get a 750+ on saturday?

any tips? i have the AMSCO book and am reading it

js keep on reading AMSCO as much as you can

study hard... really hard. thats it, dont think about doing bad. Just concentrate on the book. Just zone out and read

Consider another subject test?

but the book is so dry! and there's TONS of information on just 1 page that takes awhile and major concentration to sink in.

is there any part i shouldn't place high emphasis on? so i can maybe skip that and get to the "important" stuff in AMSCO . . .

Were the questions you got wrong/skipped from certain time periods/ categories (politics, economics, etc.)? If so, study up on those sections! In addition, if there are any topics that you know very well (got all/most of those questions correct), skip them or don't study as much.

all i gotta say is... finally a cramming story gone bad. Just do your work smartly.

You might want to take it on Saturday and see how you do. You can always retake.

I used Barron's - read practically the entire thing in two days and then took my test to get a 740. It's very comprehensive so it may be the way to go for you too.

i used barron's took 1 diagnostic test 2 weeks b4 the test, shelved the book, and then read all the american history on friday after skool (1500s to present) and i got a 760. dont worry you'll do fine. now back to cramming for math II and physics
