Back in October, I received a letter that notified me that the admissions office wanted to see my first semester grades. The first semester for my school ended on Monday so I was able to update my grades yesterday (Tuesday). I ended the semester with 2 B+'s and 4 A’s (3 A’s if sports aren’t counted). Would these stats, coupled with a 1390 SAT, be good enough for Dietrich/Pre-Pharmacy (GAP)? Also, when should I expect to hear back from the admission office?
I got deferred from Dietrich as well. I got similar grades as you with 3 As and 2 Bs (only including core classes). Really hoping for acceptance! good luck!
@bleedorangebaby good luck to you too.
same here-son just submitted semester grades Friday -3 A’s 2 B+'s and one B. He has 6 academic classes. Good luck to all!
@momofthree321 @bleedorangebaby So my “buttons” on the Pitt passport app just changed. I now have the “Accept” and “Decline” buttons on my app. Have you guys seen this as well? Based on earlier pages, this seems to be an indicator of acceptance, however, Pitt Admissions denies this. Nonetheless, I am still hoping to receive good news via e-mail and snail mail to reassure my speculation.
I just submitted my mid year grades so i’m sure mine wouldn’t have updated that quickly but i’ve heard those buttons are a good sign so good luck!
@SpartanAzure -not yet but I think that is a very good sign for you! Let us know!
