Received my letter this morning (dec 1st!). I'm missing:

SAT 1 Scores (october)
SAT 2 Scores (november)

WTF? Is there anyone who's missing the oct sat scores?

I don't know anyone with a credit card so how am I gonna rush the scores? And why is Princeton doing everything the old fashioned way? What did they ask us our email addresses for?

I'm gonna sue collegeboard if I miss my early application because of THEIR fault...

When was the letter postmarked? maybe it's normal that they did not have the scores from november, if, say, they sent the letter on 23 or 25th... on the other hand, if they've got the nov scores at this moment, then they've got ALL the scores...

best thing to do: call them asap (well, wait a few hours so the lazy americans will wake up ;))

good luck!

PS i don't understand the oct scores thing, though... and i'm begining to get restless too, cause i didn't get my 2nd letter yet, and if i got something missing, i'm screwed

The letter was dated nov 19th so there's some hope. But what about the oct scores?? And why the hell does Collegeboard not accept debit cards??? well anyway i sent pton an email and will call tonight....

from every source i've seen, the general impression is that they only make the final decisions in the last few days... but if they review your file without the nov scores, what will they do? will they say: "if he gets more than X, he's in, otherwise def, otherwise RJ" ?!! that's impossible!!

so that means that they'll take another look at your file later; but how much will they remember from the first read?
and how many files will they read like this...

i... not... understand... AAAH! :|

oh, well, i hope i'll find out one day for true (no rumours, no gossip) exactly how they work all this out...
until then, good luck!! 2all of us :) :)

i don't think it's the case, mercurysquad.
did they tell you explicitely that they don't have your nov scores? or did they just listen to you and say that "in the case we haven't got your scores..."

and i really think my theory is correct, cause i think there are other people in your position, and they can't afford to just deferr em all... god, i hope not!

did u call the collegeboard people too, to ask them about the scores?

Yes, she said they still don't have my scores (not even the october one) and wanted me to fax her my student copy of the report. She said they're having problems with collegeboard so faxes will be accepted, and that I should let college board know about the problem (I just mailed them).

So I guess I'll fax them my october score report and write a letter mentioning the november scores.
