So I have okay grades but low scores. I've already applied to my schools, but I was wondering which holds more weight in college admissions. GPA or standardized scores? T_T My scores make it seem like I can't do college lvl work at, say, HYP bc they're lower than eeeeeveryone else's. Like, I'm barely in the 25% range for these schools bc I screwed up these tests.

Pls help.

Grades are weighted more.

My scores didn’t really compare to my grades, and I turned out just fine.

Mr. MIT. <333333 lol

Thanks so much. I’ve been kinda worried. :D

But if your grades are high and your test scores aren’t wouldn’t they just assume your school has a lot of grade inflation?

Halcyon, from all the schools I visited before applying, they’ve told me that grades and your transcript are weighed much more.

But to answer your question, I would say it depends on the amount of disparity between your grades and your “potential” test score I guess. They’re not going to assume full out grade inflation, they don’t have a table to where one can find the equivalent of grades to test scores.

My hs was competitive and practiced grade deflation. My grades aren’t really high, though. They’re just…there. xD
