<p>I am a senior about to apply to IUB. I want to declare business as my intended major. I was wondering whether or not I can get into Kelley as a DA. My highest ACT Composite is 28, and my Superscore is 29. My question is, does, IUB superscore? If so, what about my GPA? I know a 3.7 is required for DA, but my school ranks GPA out of 100. My GPA is 91.77. Is this good enough? Is there a scale betweeen the two systems?</p>

<p>According to the princeton review, 91 = 3.6 and 92 = 3.7, so it sounds like you’re on the cusp. I have no idea how Kelley decides which to go with, hopefully they will round up to 92.</p>
<p>I don’t know how Kelley will handle your specific situation, but my high school also had an alternative system of calculating GPA’s, and Kelley just made me petition. I would bet you’re going to have to do the same thing.</p>
<p>But also if your school ranks, and you’re in the top 10%, you don’t have to worry about GPA. I think sometimes students forget about that.</p>
<p>My school does not rank students, and for good reason. Ranking is foolish and severely flawed. I go to private high school of over 2000 students, will that help?</p>
<p>Will the size of your school or the fact that it is private help? No, not really. You will be admitted to IU and may have to petition for Kelley.</p>

<p>PCTHiker: Did you get the IU acceptance and DirAdmit letter in the same package or were they different mailings? I got an IU accept email and am still waiting for my package. Did you ever get an email confirmation on DirAdmit before you got the mailing ? Thanks</p>
<p>Son got an email that he’s accepted into IU but we havent heard about DA for Kelley or Hutton Honors College. I think he has all the stats… when should we expect to hear?

<p>If you get accepted into IU, you find out whether or not you’re a DA later.</p>
<p>And IU does superscore ACT but they only take the GPA that’s on your transcript, so if it’s a 91.77 it’ll stay that way.</p>
