I am a senior in California looking to major in finance and I have been accepted with DA to IU's Kelley. I am wondering how Emory's Goizueta business school compares to Kelley. According to the rankings, US News ranks Kelley 9th for finance and Emory is not in top 10. Business week however ranks Emory 3rd and IU 18th as undergraduate business schools. Emory is also about $15000 more expensive and I would have to apply to Goizueta after a year at Emory. Do you think Emory is on a different level to IU for finance? Is it worth the $$$?

Both are pretty nice semi-target schools but I personally would rank Kelley above Goizueta if not for the academics then for the huge alumni base. Plus, if the price is a large issue then you can never go wrong with IU. Additionally, you’re already accepted!

I.U. is an great school in a awesome town! I would visit them both; if you plan on visting B-Town I would highly advice you to come during Little 5 week ;)

Can’t go wrong with either, but I would choose Kelley based on money and direct admittance. Both will set you up with a great job if you put in the effort.
