<p>I've been invited to apply for the Kelley Scholars Program..anyone know much about it?</p>

<p>hmm i'm not sure.. i guess it depends on the number of direct admits to kelley but of those i'm sure not all apply for kelley scholars</p>
<p>I assume that I got into Kelley, but by getting the application for the scholarship, that does mean I am automatically in Kelley right?</p>
<p>My S was invited to apply for the Kelley scholarship too. I called admission and they said 11-15 were selected each year. Didn't tell me how many applied. From the article it appears 10 of the 11 who received the scholarship are in-state. My son is OOS. I wonder if it's worth applying for given his OOS status.</p>
<p>Kelley wouldn't be able to tell you the number of applicants for the current year because students haven't all sent their applications back yet. The number of students who qualify would differ each year depending on the number who applied to IU and who also met the qualifications. </p>
<p>Most of the awards are given to in-state students because that's how the Kelley family - through their donation to the school - set up the scholarship program. There might be a couple hundred OOS students competing for one or two awards, but it's worth the effort to apply. If you're one of the lucky students, it's a full ride.</p>
<p>i have the same question as mwproven....i just found out i got into indiana online....i havent gotten anything in the mail yet so i dont know if i got into kelley or not but i got an email from fedex saying that they were shipping me a kelley scholars application...so does that mean im in kelley???</p>
<p>I think it is safe to say that, if you have been invited to apply for Kelley Scholars, you are a direct admit to Kelley. Good luck to all who apply!</p>
