I am looking to be in the business field when I am older, not sure what specifically though. I have been accepted as a direct admit into the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and the University of Wisconsin. I have always wanted to go to Wisconsin but Business School admission is not guaranteed, in fact, from what I have read up on it is quite difficult. I don't know what to do because Kelley is ranked better but I'm not sure what that significance is. Indiana seems like a safer choice because I am already in the Business School and it is technically "better." What I do not like about Indiana is that the general population isn't up to par with the Kelley students whereas in Wisconsin everyone is at the same academic level. Right now I am leaning towards Kelley but any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If you are certain you will major in business and have already been accepted to Kelley, go with Kelley. Wisconsin is better for liberal arts, etc. It can be stressful to try to gain admittance to the business school after you start college. Both will give you a great college experience.

Hi I am really in the exact same situation. I’m debating between both of these schools and am currently very interested in where you chose to go, rdt722? I think both schools are very good options, but Wisconsin does lack the “direct admit” component unless you are invited to the extremely selective program. Anyone who chose Wisconsin for business I would really appreciate if you could provide me a little bit of information about your experience there because I don’t know too many Wisconsin-Madison Grads.

I’m on the same page. Where did you all decide to go?
