Kelley school of business

If kelley is one of the top undergraduate schools, why does it have an acceptance rate of 37%?

Reminds me of the famous Groucho Marx quote: “I don’t want to be in any club that would have me as a member.”

The main reason is that Kelley has a lot of enrolled students - over 7000. Most business schools don’t have this many students.

@iubaccounting I have been accepted to gabelli, isenberg, babson and kelley as of now. I’ve also applied to usc marshall, notre dame mendoza, emory goizueta, BU and Virginia mcintire. Which one according to you is the best option?

I don’t really know anything about any of those schools besides Kelley. It also depends on cost, where you want to be after you graduate, what you want to study, etc. I’m happy to answer questions about Kelley, but you know more about all the other schools than me if you have applied there.

@Dxx you may have applied to UVA but if you are accepted you would be in the College of Arts and Sciences. You would apply to McIntyre during your second year and start in McIntyre your third year. It is competitive…acceptance rate is about 55 to 60 % depending on the year and many students self select out and don’t bother applying. So you shouldn’t say you applied to McIntyre. I also believe you don’t have direct entry to the B school at Emory but I am not certain.

Yes, emory is the same as UV. Also, I got deferred from umich.

@dxx I’m in the same boat :frowning:
