Kent State to Ohio State!?

<p>Hello! when i was in high school, I applied to Ohio State University and got the option to be wait listed but I never had them put me on the wait list because I decided to just go to Kent State to not deal with the hassle. I was wondering what my chances of getting accepted into The Ohio State University are for next year (I am a freshman this year) In high school I had a 3.8 and 26 ACT and around top 26% in the graduating class (we had a very smart class). I plan on working my but off this year just to show OSU how dedicatedI am to going there!
Do you think I have a chance??</p>

<p>I think you have a pretty good shot, Im surprised you got wait listed with your HS GPA. A 3.8 is a great GPA for Ohio State. I would work hard at Kent and get the best GPA you can get. Also, transferring to OSU is a lot easier then applying as a freshman. They accept 86% of transfer while only accepting 62% of freshman. Just be sure you have over number of credit hours OSU wants and above a 2.0. You’ll be fine, good luck!</p>
