Kick start advice on next year's classes?

This summer, because of low grades in the past, I want to go ahead and start learning the material in the classes I'm taking this coming year. I'm not worried about my math classes since those have always been my forte, but I'm sorta bad at history and English.

The classes I'm taking include:
AP Lang
AP Comp Sci
AP Psych, and
US History H

If anyone has advice on these classes, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm planning on using the Princeton reviews for these four classes (hopefully reviewing APUSH will make me well-prepared for just Honors).

Thanks!

I’m taking APUSH next year, and for the summer assignment, we get the textbook. So I’m planning on spending some time actually reading ahead in the textbook and taking notes, so that it’ll be easier for me during the year. I’d suggest reading Barron’s or Princeton’s for AP Psych. And maybe get ahead in reading for AP Lang? You could also always just email your future teachers for these classes and ask what would be most helpful to do in advance. I honestly doubt they would turn you away.

AP CS: Learn Python on codecademy, and get familiar with Java after. A good logical background in other languages tends to transfer over really well.

Topics in Java to get oriented with before Day 1:
Object Oriented Design
Inheritance

Good idea! I know some of the teachers already, so hopefully they can help me out.

Well good! I’m already well-learned in Python. Thanks for the advice!
