<p>The application has an individual page for each personal statement. Both of them combined has to be 1000 words or less. If you actually looked at the application, I’m not sure how you can be confused about it. It’s already very clear.</p>
<p>Yes, use paragraphs like you would in a normal essay. Do you think the admissions officers are going to be happy seeing a massive wall of text when they have thousands of personal statements to read?</p>

<p>TonyStark93, yes use paragraphs because you don’t want it to look very cluttered. Also, when you are finished with your personal statements you will be copying and pasting them on the document - so don’t worry about format, ect.</p>
<p>I think use a paragraphs when its appropriate. Im a transfer student and my major essay does not have paragraphs at the moment, I dont think it needs them because my sentences blend well. But for the other paragraphs were necessary since it had more info that had to be separated.</p>
