What is the policy of transferring betwen the schools, i.e. Kinesiology to LSA?
Is it easier to get into on over the other?

One is best off applying to the school he is really interested in. If one thinks, say, applying to nursing is an easy way into the university, he is in for a rude awakening. The more specialized schools (nursing, kinesiology) are looking for canidates that already demonstrate a strong amount of interest in the subjects they are applying to study.

Thank you for your input. My son is very intereted in sports management but is not completely sure that this is what he really wants. If he changes his mind is transferring a problem?

I know someone who applied to nursing, got in and then once she got to orientation, switched to business. I found that to be really annoying.

what is kiniesiology?

simply put, it's sports medicine/health...but can also include things like sports management.

darn, my friend was telling me about how Michigan had a school specifically for "breeding sports managers and coaches and office executives" but i knew it was too good to be true...

Mich kiniesiology does have sports management and it's a very good program...one of my hallmates was talking about how he talked with professional executives from the NBA at some internship meeting. he got business cards from people working for the Washington Wizards and the Pistons
