King’s college foundation

Hello,
Can someone explain to me the application process to King’s international foundation.
Is there a selection process or are you just admitted once you meet their minimum requirements?

Many UK universities offer ‘foundation’ courses for students whose academic background would not otherwise be sufficient for the university course they want to pursue. For UK students, it usually means that they are changing direction and need a pre-req course that they didn’t do for A levels, For international students it usually means either their English language skills are not strong enough or that their secondary school prep didn’t fit with UK requirements.

It is a paid course that takes anybody who fits the requirements. Note that it does NOT guarantee you a place at Kings for an actual degree course. From your other posts I am not sure why you would want to do a foundation course.

Well I’m an international student and I can’t get into any UK university without a foundation course.
So if I meet the minimum grade and ielts requirements I’m good to go?

Yes

Some of the UK unis will accept SAT subject tests - you have taken the SAT, so could you take 3 subject tests?

Yes, I know that that applies to LSE and Cambridge University but I’m not sure about Kings. It’ll be really great if they do

iirc, Kings will take 3 SAT subject tests w/scores of 650+

I just checked and unfortunately this doesn’t apply to my country and I won’t be able to enroll into an undergrad degree without a foundation course )):

Sorry :frowning:

No worries!! Thanks for the help anyways ((:
