first of all which of TOP UK universities accept SATs? i know edinburgh,kings college accept SATs
Can you send SAT scores later just like in US universities? on KINGS COLLEGE LONDON i read that SAT REPORT date is due 15 august, which is REAALY nice does it mean i can send my sat scores after regular deadline (KING COLLEGE DEADLINE IS 15 JANUARY)
After you finish baccalaureate program in UK , can you continue MASTERS in us without losing 1 year? i am asking this because us unis have 4 year programs, uk and eu unis only 3!
do you enroll after highschool, or you have to study 1 year in your home country in uni and then go to british universities?
UK unis accept the SAT - but you also need APs / subject tests. SATs alone are not enough.
@collegemom3717
wow nice to hear, i knew i had to take subject tests. so its not late for me, pretty good news!
i am international student btw, not american, will they have problem with this?
Not all universities Accept Sat2 in lieu of AP/A level, so check requirements for individual universities.
as long as you can pay the fees they’re happy to take students from any country
@Conformist1688 yes bruv, oxford requires sat 1470+points + 3 sat subject tests with 700+ scores. ill do it my main target is Stanford ,but lets see how my ECs will work out! ill aim getting all those requirements done by august.
For the SAT questions you’ll have to check with individual universities. Maybe email admissions? I’m sure they’d be happy to help.
I don’t quite understand your Masters question. Do you mean ‘can you study a 3 year bachelors and then a 1 year masters in the US straight away?’, because I’m fairly sure you can (don’t quote me on this!) - if I am unlucky enough not to get into an US colleges for undergrad, I’m hoping to do this.
And yes you can apply and enroll straight from high school, just like we do in the UK.
(also please feel free to message me with any UK university questions - I’m a UK student)
