callthecops2, what school u go to ?

i used to go to taejon christian int'l. graduated from there last year.

Wait. I really think I saw you when you came to take an SAT at my school.

I remember... it must have been in June last year? I had breakfast that day (which is very unusual for me) and came up to the test room to see where my seat would be. I saw a name that was neither Korean nor European, and I was kinda surprised because that was the first time we had people outside my school take the test there. Your first name begins with S and your surname with P, I think, right? And I did see an Indian-looking person the same day.

Any have any idea what SAT range I need to be in if considering Seoul National University?

SNU doesn't use the SAT administered by ETS, as far as I know.

They do for international students.

do half koreans count?
saic

heythatslife, u did see me :) my first name is Suryaprakash, and it is often wrongly split by people into Surya Prakash, so that was me.

Oooh! You have the same first name as a former classmate! (Sorry, just randomly popping in.)

wow. Suryaprakash isnt really a common name

I think it is now time to revive this thread!!! So where did all you Koreans get accepted?? I got accepted to Brown, Cornell, Amherst, Northwestern, WUSTL, Emory, Vanderbilt, and still waiting for Fedex to bring me news about Princeton... Right now I'm leaning on Brown... So what about you guys?

hey eTHeReaLkEv

What's your Korean name ?

Congrats eth!!! Wow you got accepted to greaaaaat schools. Hope you get into pton! (did you apply for aid?)

hey guys I'm going to Columbia this year. Any Lion here?

Anyone seen "Goong/Princess hour"?
What do you guy think of it, should watch or not?

i got into princeton, williams, amherst, all with great financial aid.
I didn't go to any hak won, no kidding.
And I didn't buy any essay-fixing, college app trimming programs. Future Koreans: Do it yourself if you have the motivation, and you'll be fine. You'll also save lots of money.

anybody going to Cornell?

exactly hello123. hakwons and essay-trimming programs are very ineffective, if not completely useless.
