does davis have any korean language courses? it’s something i actually want to learn. either way ill finish my foreign language req. with spanish, hopefully, if i get at least a 3. oh btw sent in my SIR. who else is going?

Davis does not have Korean, but from what I hear, Sacramento City College teaches Korean on the UCD campus in certain quarters. I'm not quite sure how it works, but my friend tells me that it's possible to enroll into that if you really want to learn Korean.

I have a friend there that took Korean her sophomore year. Not sure if it was through UCD though.

Students can fulfill the College of Letters and Science one year foreign language requirement with the language classes offered at SCC (Sacramento City College) including Cantonese, Farsi, Korean, Tagalog, or Vietnamese. These classes are held on the UCD campus besides the SCC - Davis Center and cater towards the UCD student population with a slightly modified semester system. Students must petition for concurrent enrollment. The beginning classes are offered in the Fall (late August to December) and intermediate classes are offered in the Spring (mid to late January to late May).
