I've heard Nutrisci10 was a popular one, but the good teacher (Amy) left.

Any suggestions for what to take in Spring? And if not, Fall?

Thank you!!

Plant & Microbial Biology 10 - Society & Agriculture (2 units)
Only offered in Fall. Don't know if it's a good class, but I plan on taking it.

IB 35AC, though it is fall only

What do you guys think of nutrisci 11? Intro to toxicology?

To add to the list, another good 2-unit L&S Bio breadth course is ESPM 40 about insect etymology, which is what I'm taking now to fulfill the requirement.

IB 41 - Marine Mammals (2 units - Fall)

It's really straightforward. Take notes. Go over your notes before the midterm and final and you're good. Midterms and final are multiple choice.

I took NST 11 last semester to fulfill my biological sciences requirement. There are three professors for that class: Bjeldanes, Casidas, and Smith. They are all wonderful-- ESPECIALLY Casidas (b/c he spends an entire lecture talking about absinthe). I highly recommend it. There are only two hours of lecture a week and a voluntary discussion.

Thanks to everyone!!
