I applied as an Incoming Freshman to the L&S CS program. I have heard mixed things on exactly how applicants to this program are considered for admission so I wanted to see if I could get it cleared up. On one hand, I have heard that they are treated exactly the same as any other L&S major, where you are basically applying “undeclared” to the College of L&S. I have also heard, however, that CS students specifically are considered differently because the major is so impacted. I realize theres the whole 3.3 GPA requirement to actually declare the major, but in terms of admissions is it treated any differently from other L&S majors? Thanks!
