Lack of a High School Profile?

If your school doesn't have a high school profile, should you request the administration/guidance counsellor to create one?

I'll contact the admissions department anyways, so never mind.

C_P, if you're going to contact your school's administration, you might want to provide the following information/links:

http://www.collegeboard.com/about/association/regional/west/hsprofile.html

and

http://www.collegeboard.com/about/association/regional/west/hsprofsam.html

Hope this helps...good luck!

They may create one, but it will take time. Probably won't be ready for your purposes.

I believe Curmudgeon dealt with the "high school does not do a profile" thing. Not sure I recall how he handled it, may have helped them create one. You might PM him if he doesn't chime in on this thread.

I am quiite sure that you school probably sends something about your high school in terms of courses avaialable grades etc.

Have you asked your GC what sort of information that they do send to the colleges about the school (it could be a profile, but maybe they just call it something different)
