my school does not have a school profile. however, i am applying to HYPS where nobody in my school applies. colleges don't know that much about my school. what do you recommend i do?

If you want to apply, just do it. What high school do you attend?

no, i already applied. my question is what should i do about the high school profile issue since my school doesn't have one.

Uhh...why didn't you ask us a little earlier? Wouldn't that have been a little more...sensible?

And sorry but I have no clue about the profile. They might call the school if they want some more information, I guess.

I wouldn't worry about it. If they want more info about your school, they'd call, and it's not your fault your school doesn't have a profile!

Just make sure that your guidance counselor's recommendation included the information that would normally be found in a school profile (school size, GPA distribution, # of AP classes offered, etc). In evaluating your application, adcoms are assessing your transcript and achievements in the context of the opportunities available to you.
You might be surprised to find that your school does actually have a profile...in California, all public schools file annual reports with the state that list the same data.
Check with whoever wrote your recommendation from your school to give yourself peace of mind...you will not be rejected from any school based on this issue, anyway.
