Usually standard fit is $72 and classic fit is $75.

...Wow, you don't attend a public school do you?

No, I'm started at a private day school., but I've been going to once since Kindergarten and I'm going to be a freshman.

The whole country club lifestyle sickens me for the mostpart.

"im not buying the ******** that its "better quality". no. people who shop there have money to burn. they need to feed some starving africans instead of buying overpriced basics for their wardrobe."

No where is it stated that you "need to feed some starving africans."

I don't shop there, nor would I based on the prices, but people are able to spend money on what THEY want, whether they spend it on over priced clothes or not is all up to them. I am sick and tired of people bringing in the "starving africans" every time there is a topic on money.

^hmm u would hate my area theres a Country Club around every corner there must b 8-10 of them in the area...

lacoste is great i have 4 shirts from there the way to do it is SALE!!!!!

i got 2 of my shirts on sale 2 of them not(the 2 other ones were for School my parents tend to spend more money on clothing for my private school b/c welll it costs more money. to buy uniforms)

on friday when my sister comes shes giving me a south-side manhattan coach bag if u know what i mean(ITs a black market bag but this one looks soooo real!!!!!) its a ripoff of the bag i really want...

Urban Outfitters and their prices are seriously the most ridiculous thing ever. $40 for a shirt with that kind of cheap material they use? It should've been $20 at the greatest. And COME ON, $15 for a tank of the same material? I like the clothes there, but I'll only buy sale items.

My dad's a country club member, and I used to live in a neighborhood that had a mandatory joining requirement.

And I second the urban outfitters bit- I love their clothes, but I only buy on sale.

SDMS12: Being the cheap person that I am, I don't even have one shirt from Lacoste/Burberry. Everytime I even think of getting one, the fact that there are shirts made by Polo Ralph Lauren, Nautica, AE, etc. that go for half the price (PRL has to be on sale for that to be true) and still are as good or better than Lacoste makes me weary to spend that kind of money.

The biggest issue with Lacoste is that it's rarely on sale and NEVER on sale for more than 20% off (that I've seen), which further repels me from buying their shirts (again, the cheap person that I am :))

Go Cheap People!

I have lacoste shirts and my dad got a burbery polo for my christmas...(as a "present" from my mom altho its his money b/c my moms a stay at home)

and ive gotten almost half off shirts from lacoste

but if u really want expensive stuff

go to lordandtaylors.com

if u go on long island to L+T's at the one in Garden City stop by the garden and pay ur respects to my grandma(not kidding she asked us to put her ashes in the garden between L+T's and saks she loved their sales)

quote

That's a wee bit on the creepy side.

haha yeah, and probably illegal. im pretty sure you need a permit to scatter ashes.

noo my mom talked to the people at L+T's before hand and they said go ahead..b/c they remembered my grandma

Sigh. I don't understand why Lacoste shirts are so coveted. They're high-quality shirts (mother-of-pearl buttons, etc.), but there's nothing really special about them.

And personally, I think it's dumb to slap on an animal logo on a shirt and call that fashion.

andy roddick= lacoste

ehh i dont really see lacoste as that preppy....
my friend has a lot of clothes and shoes from lacoste but hes not like that....
AE, Abercrombie, yeah i guess
except i have a couple of abercrombie shirts and im not preppy...
umm... i think -_-

lol.

This thread made me feel so cheap.

I usually buy $6-8 shirts in Ross. :)

lacoste....hmmmmmmm
