I know that a lot of colleges, especially LACs, have adjusted their testing policies in the past few years. Middlebury, for example, will let you submit EITHER an SAT OR three SATIIs OR the ACT. Are there others that have a similar policy, or do most still require both the SAT and the subject tests?

Every school in the country will now accept either the SAT or the ACT w/ writing. Many, but not all, will accept the ACT w/ writing in lieu of SAT IIs. For many schools you can submit your best ACT and you will be done.

Test optional colleges will allow this.

NYU allows you to submit subject tests or AP scores in lieu of SATs, I believe.

Connecticut College allows this.
