When my D applied a couple of years ago, notification was done all by snail mail. I don’t think things have changed but I’m not 100% certain.
Has any international student received email?

However, last year, Lafayette’s decisions were sent via email to international students. Hopefully it will be the same this year haha. I don’t want to wait a lifetime for a snail mail 
So if we were to be accepted and receive the Marquis Scholarship, we would have been notified already? this anxiety is killing me.
Lafayette has sent email notifications to international students for the past 6 years at least. Few days after that, you get paper notifications, sent by FedEx so you get that in 3-5 days or so.
Since Lafayette sends their Marquis scholar acceptances about a week before their regular acceptances, the theory that they are sending them out friday (March 20th) is highly likely. Lafayette tends to send out their letter out on Fridays and many people have heard from admissions that theyll be sent out at the end of the week.
So, if Lafayette only send decisions by snail mail, is it safe to say that we’re not going to hear back today?
@redhead15 if you live extremely close to campus the earliest you’ll hear back is tomorrow, if you’re lucky. Most people will hear back by Monday.
@Shaldy2 I was really hoping they would email decisions tonight, but I think I can wait until Monday. Thanks!
UPDATE: Decisions are being sent out tomorrow for sure. Meaning internationals will probably receive thier emails tuesday and so will a majority of people receiving letters.
